Job Role: FinOps Specialist – Multi-Vendor Data & Cost Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Position Type: Contract Role

12 Months Contract

3 days Onsite

Ideal Candidate Rate: CAD 60-65/Hr (Depending on the experience)

Must Have:

- Strong experience in FinOps, technology financial management, cloud cost management , vendor analytics, or financial/data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate, reconcile, and analyze large datasets.
- Experience with visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake , or equivalent platforms.
- Experience analyzing cloud billing and consumption data from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud , or other major technology vendors.
- Strong understanding of consumption-based pricing, cloud billing structures , commitments, discounts, and cost allocation.

Preferred Qualifications

- FinOps Certified Practitioner or similar FinOps certification.
- Experience working with multi-cloud and multi-vendor technology environments.
- Experience with SaaS, infrastructure, software licensing, data platforms, or other consumption-based technology services.
- Experience supporting vendor negotiations, contract renewals,



or commercial analysis.
- Familiarity with the FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification (FOCUS).
