Title: Senior Functional Analyst - SAP FICO

Duration: 12 month

Location: Toronto or Montreal (hybride)

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week The SAP FICO Functional Analyst is responsible for providing ongoing operational support and helping deliver projects from design through implementation for the solutions and systems underlying finance-related business processes. The incumbent acts as a bridge between IT teams and the business team served by the competency center to which they report. The analyst specializes in analyzing business processes to convert them into IT solutions by modeling those processes.

Based on this modeling, the analyst will design and develop, together with their team, an IT solution that meets business needs. Once the solution is implemented, they ensure it properly meets the needs of the business area.

Responsibilities:

- Contributes to operational support under the responsibility of their competency center by resolving incidents and service requests within SLAs
- Actively monitors production system processes and activities
- Writes and reviews functional specifications according to standards and best practices
- Configures SAP Finance modules to meet business requirements
- Creates test scripts, performs testing, and documents results to confirm system functionality
- Provides end-user support for stabilization purposes when new changes are deployed




- Develops a solid relationship with Finance business partners within the organization, translating their needs into technical requirements for their competency center
- Anticipates issues and risks by implementing controls and associated action plans to secure production deployments
- Investigates, analyzes, and resolves problems or incidents related to production systems
- Advises and assists users from an improvement and innovation perspective
- Translates business, operational, and functional requirements to development teams
- Participates in quality control activities for their competency center's processes

Requirements

- At least 5 years of experience in implementation projects, as well as operational experience and configuration of the FICO, RE, and PS modules, IDocs, and knowledge of key integration points with MM and SD
- MM: Purchasing, Inventory Management (IM), Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV), Purchasing agreement management
- Agency Business: Vendor Direct Shipments, Customer Billing – Direct Shipments, Customer Billing – Miscellaneous Charges, Customer Billing – Points
- SD: Customer Billing – Warehouse Sales, Credit Management, Customer Billing – Service Contracts, Sales agreement management, Loyalty Management, Lump Sum Amounts
- Has completed at least one large-scale SAP Finance project
- May require travel between Metro offices (Laval, Montreal, Varennes, Ontario)
