This permanent role seeks a strategic HR leader with over 5 years of experience, ready to support CBC News leadership across Newfoundland, PEI, Current Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
You will navigate complex industrial relations and foster a culture of respect and inclusion, ensuring alignment with CBC/Radio-Canada’s values. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise leaders on HR/IR challenges and strategies
- Guide performance management and workforce planning efforts
- Foster positive union-management relationships
- Support organizational development and change initiatives
- Establish strategic priorities to meet local needs Requirements:
- 5+ years in HR, preferably in a unionized setting
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Industrial Relations
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently with initiative
