Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line of Business: Human Resources Pay Details: $142,800 - $176,800 CAD The pay details posted reflect a temporary market premium specific to this role that is reassessed annually. The HRBP Director is a senior strategic partner to TD Securities Global Data & Business Enablement leadership, responsible for aligning human capital strategies with business objectives. This role drives organizational effectiveness, talent development, and cultural transformation in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires deep financial services expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence at the executive level. Serve as a trusted advisor to Global Data & Business Enablement executives, providing insights on workforce trends, talent risks, and organizational health. Translate business priorities into actionable HR strategies that enable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Partner with senior leaders on strategic initiatives such as market expansion, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance. Develop and execute workforce plans aligned with business growth and market conditions. Lead succession planning for critical roles and ensure robust leadership pipelines.

Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract top-tier talent and ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Manage complex change initiatives, including communication planning and stakeholder engagement. Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate HR-related risks. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in compensation, hiring, and employee relations. Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (i.e.

Total

Rewards, Employee Relations, Organizational Effectiveness, L&D;) to deliver integrated solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,



Business Administration, or related field; 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in senior HRBP roles within financial services. Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate banking, and investment banking operations.

Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead organizational change. Expertise in talent management and organizational design. Exceptional communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to leverage HR metrics and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
