Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for two Full time (1.0 FTE) Teacher Assistant at Fox Creek School, Fox Creek, AB.

Successful candidate responsibilities:

- Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in a classroom setting

Teach er Assistant s Qualifications :

- Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Early Childhood training and experience (desirable)

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

- Establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff
- Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teacher and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
- Understand and carry out oral and written direction
- Work independently with minimal instruction




- Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
- Respect confidentiality
- Practice professionalism with all Fox Creek School students, staff, administration, parents and public
- Be aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures

Hours of Work:

- 32.5 hours per week/6.5 hours per day

Wage Rate:

- $20.76/hour - $29.26/hour depending on qualifications and experience
