This role supports benefits administration for the TRCA.Major ResponsibilitiesSupports payroll system administration and quality assurance and control with a focus on accuracySupports data integrity in the payroll system by conducting regular report audits; takes action to identify and address discrepanciesProcesses all employee group health benefits enrolments,



changes and terminationsDocuments and communicates all employee benefits changes to the advantages providerAdministers benefits change reports for internal purposesProvides various reports to internal and external stakeholdersIncumbents may also be assigned other dutiesWhat will you need to succeedEducation (degree/diploma/certifications/licenses)Completion of college diploma in Payroll, Business Commerce, Accounting, or a related fieldExperience1+ years of payroll and/or benefits related experienceKnowledge/Skill/Ability - CompetenciesUnderstanding and application of basic mathematical functions (e.G., adding, subtracting, measuring, money computation)Able to comprehend written documentation and procedural guidelines; skilled in writing clear correspondence (concise, logical, grammatically correct)Ability to communicate effectively with tact and courtesyDemonstrates responsiveness to internal and external customer requests and needsBasic computer proficiency in MS Office suite including online software such as MS teams, WebEx, and SharePoint#J-18808-Ljbffr
