Senior Middleware / Integration Engineer – IBM DataPower & OpenShift

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Middleware / Integration Engineer with 7–10+ years of hands-on experience to support enterprise middleware modernization and mission-critical integration platforms.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience with IBM DataPower, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), OpenShift, RHEL, AWS, Java Spring Boot, and CI/CD automation , with a proven track record of platform upgrades, migrations, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead IBM DataPower migration from physical appliances to OpenShift Container Platform .
- Design, deploy, upgrade, and support IBM DataPower and IBM App Connect Enterprise .
- Support Java Spring Boot microservices and enterprise integration services.
- Implement HA/DR, performance tuning, message persistence, TLS/mTLS, and certificate/PKI management.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized middleware deployments on OpenShift and AWS.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA , and support ITIL incident/problem management.
- Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability for mission-critical platforms.
- Support QA,



integration testing, performance testing, environment readiness, and defect triage.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Network, Unix/Linux, QA, and business teams.
- Create technical documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Required Skills
- 7–10+ years in middleware, integration engineering, or related technical domains.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataPower and IBM ACE .
- Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes and RHEL .
- Hands-on AWS experience.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation .
- Strong knowledge of TLS/mTLS, PKI, certificates, security, and enterprise integration .
- Excellent troubleshooting, RCA, monitoring, and production support skills.
- Experience in healthcare, public sector, or other regulated environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of HL7/HL7v3, PHI, privacy, compliance, and 24×7 mission-critical environments is a strong plus.
