Reporting to the Senior Manager of Plant Science, you will be responsible for comprehensive microbial analysis and developing disease-resistant plant cultivars.
The role requires collaboration across teams, including cultivation and biotech, to enhance crop health and resilience against pathogens through research and innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbial identification for quality assurance
- Evaluate and implement Integrated Pest Management practices
- Diagnose plant stress and develop mitigation strategies
- Lead research on pathogens and viroid transmission
- Work with breeding teams to create resistant cultivars Requirements:
- PhD or MSc in Plant Pathology or related area
- 1-2 years of relevant field experience
