Make a difference in patient care as a Resource Nurse for Inpatient Cardiology at Humber River Health. This full-time role emphasizes clinical leadership and impactful patient management.
As a Resource Person, you will oversee patient care and nursing quality standards in the Cardiology unit. You are responsible for facilitating communication and managing staffing to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This temporary, full-time position supports both patient care delivery and staff education within an cutting-edge healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Adjust staffing levels and patient assignments as necessary • Report and address patient care issues proactively • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective planning • Monitor and manage patient flow using Command Centre • Engage in continuous education and training for staff
Requirements: • Baccalaureate degree or equivalent in Nursing • Good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Two years of recent clinical experience • Current BCLS certification or equivalent • Leadership experience is highly desirable
