A leading custom lighting company is seeking an experienced Senior Quotation Manager to join our growing team. This is a key position for an individual with strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage and turn around complex quotations quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyze customer inquiries, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for custom lighting projects.
- Evaluate fixture construction, materials, components, LED systems, drivers, controls, and electrical requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, purchasing, production, and sales teams to ensure quotations are technically and commercially sound.
- Review custom lighting designs and identify potential technical or manufacturing issues before pricing.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier pricing and confirm lead times and availability.
- Respond quickly to quotation requests and meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain accurate costing and pricing information while protecting company margins.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and assist with value-engineering opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience





- 5+ years of experience in custom lighting, architectural lighting, electrical products, or a closely related industry.
- Strong technical and electronic knowledge is essential.
- Solid understanding of LED technology, drivers, power supplies, dimming systems, controls, wiring, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and electrical documents.
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and custom manufacturing.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical and pricing decisions.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to review and turn around quotations quickly without compromising accuracy.
- Proficiency with Excel and other estimating/quotation software; AutoCAD knowledge is an asset.
