SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Senior Supervisor, Supply Chain . Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Supervisor, Supply Chain will be responsible for managing all supply chain functions within site, including warehouse, logistics and inventory control.

You will work with Site Services for proper scheduling of bulk materials that are brought over the ice road. Accountable for developing, implementing, and managing the 1-2-year materials management plan and delivering the agreed results. Accountable to develop and manage a high-performance team,



delegating them appropriate deliverables and holding them accountable for delivery.

Develops warehouse operations systems (ERP) by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping. Responsible for the development and delivery of relevant KPI’s and reporting to measure and improve site supply chain performance. Accountable to build organizational alignment to create site efficiencies (e.g., Assist in the development, implementation and management of the Supply Chain budget associated with inventory.

Knowledge of supply chain principles and industry best practices. Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge with SAP or other ERP platforms. Post-secondary education in Business, Supply and Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and Leadership experience.

Experience working at remote mine sites, including ice-road operations.

Experience in procurement and contract management is preferred. This position has a schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
