Salary: $88.00 per hour (contractors must be incorporated)

Duration: October 19, 2026 to October 15, 2027 (with potential two 12-month extensions)

Hours of Work: 7 hours per day (35 hours per week)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer and Architect with a minimum 6 years of extensive Salesforce development and architectural experience with a strong background in Salesforce.com (SFDC) application architecture, data and information, integration, code development, configuration, deployment, and administration.

The position is expected to perform the responsibilities as a Salesforce Developer and Architect duties. The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge and expertise in the Salesforce.com platform including Vlocity public sector foundation (PSF) framework and will have system-wide responsibility for design, development, configuration, integration, and customization on the complex integrated project.

In this role, the successful candidate will be delivering a Salesforce application on an existing Salesforce platform where multiple other Salesforce applications are currently active. The candidate will be collaboratively and transparently working in an Agile Scrum project team delivering the highest quality solution per business and functional requirements in short iterative Sprints of 2 weeks following SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).

The project team maintains 5 Scrum values as core cultural foundation and the candidate must adhere to it. The ideal candidate would be self-organized and have acute eye for details while building and delivering the solution with highest Quality standards. The candidate must be capable of understanding the current system architecture, project and system governance and framework, and procedures in a fast- paced manner and start working on deliverables following the project’s Agile Scrum framework and its deliverables within.

Travel Requirements: Travel between various Region of Peel locations may be required.

Deliverables:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and other teams to gather and understand requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Architect and design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions that adhere to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Hands-on development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives leveraging declarative tools, Public Sector Foundation (PSF), Apex, and Lightning components.
- Use Vlocity public sector foundation (PSF)



framework to address business requirements, e.g., PDF document generation.
- Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architects to align technical designs with overall platform architecture standards and principles.
- Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate access controls, data sharing rules, and security configurations.
- Design and execute data migration tasks.
- Lead technical design sessions and code reviews, ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of developed solutions.
- Design, develop, execute and debug test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing to ensure quality and reliability of developed solutions.
- Perform code migration as per existing release management process, including sandbox management, deployment strategies, and change management.
- Build comprehensive documentation of technical designs, customizations, configurations, and development processes for future reference.
- Provide knowledge transfer to the Agency's technical team and provide demonstrations to the business user and training on how to use the application.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, offering innovative solutions and recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends, and proactively recommend their adoption to improve the platform's capabilities.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:

- A minimum of 6 (six) years of practical solution delivery experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including working on medium to large-scale complex Salesforce projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, architecture, security, and functionalities, including customizations, configuration, and integration capabilities.
- Understanding of Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and security considerations to ensure a robust and maintainable solution.
- Using declarative tools such as, Flows, Workflow Rules, and Validation Rules
- Lightning Framework: building modern and responsive user interfaces within the Salesforce Lightning Experience Framework.
- Developing custom code using Salesforce's programming language, Apex, and creating custom user interfaces using Visualforce.
- Solid understanding and experience working with Public Sector Foundation (or Vlocity) framework including PSF data model.
- Experience with data modeling, data migration, and data cleansing techniques within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Ability to write unit tests, perform code reviews, and debug issues effectively to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed solutions.
- Skill in creating comprehensive documentation for design, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.




- Minimum 5 years experience working in Agile development environments, collaborating with cross- functional teams and delivering incremental value.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills to design and implement solutions that address business needs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, understand requirements, and translate technical concepts into clear explanations.

Mandatory Certification (Proof of Certification must be submitted):

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.

Nice to have Certifications (Proof of Certification must be submitted):

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Any Salesforce Designer or Architect certifications. Examples of Salesforce Designer/Architect certifications include:
- Salesforce Certified Data Architect
- Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect
- Salesforce Certified Integration Architect
- Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
