AIM Children's Charity is looking for an experienced Senior Therapist Assistant who is passionate to provide exceptional service to their families, loves to work within a team, and who genuinely cares about the outcomes for their children. AIM is an interdisciplinary IBI centre/private school and you will be working in a multidisciplinary team of education, Speech-Language Pathologist, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Behaviour Therapists. We are a charitable organization dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Senior Therapist or Clinical Supervisor to support the daily operations and clinical functions of the team
- Work together with the Senior Therapist or Clinical Supervisor to support client experience and service provision quality
- Collaborate with supervisors to assess client progress
- Ensure the consistency in the delivery and quality of programs and services
- Support the development and delivery of staff, caregiver, and volunteer trainings
- Provide mentorship and coaching to Instructor Therapists, students, and volunteers
- Collaborate and support the supervision of ABA group programs (eg. Saturday Social), Behaviour
Consultative Services
- Work collaboratively with all members of the client's team, including parents, instructor therapists, and clinical team members (ABA, SLP, OT)
- Active participation in all AIM’s campaigns, trainings, fundraising events and lead by example.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with clients, completing curricular assessment tools (i.e. ABLLS, PEAK, AFLS, VB-MAPP, ESDM, EFLS) and directly implementing ABA interventions to reduce problem behaviour and increase adaptive skills
- Enrolled in a master's degree in psychology, applied behaviour analysis, or equivalent related fields
- Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a vehicle
- Flexibility with working hours during centre operational hours (including evenings and weekend operational hours)
- Ability to deliver Level 2 IT services to fidelity (e.g. Caregiver Coaching, Project ImPACT, SBT, or VTP)
- Trained ability to deliver at least one Level 3 IT service to fidelity (e.g. Home/Community sessions, Focused ABA – Feeding Programs, or Focused ABA – Caregiver Mediated Tutoring)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $55,575.00-$60,400.00 per year
