- Perform complex analyses of heat transfer, pipe network flow, thermodynamics or aircraft Icing.
- Understand and frame the results within the context of the design and right sizing of an aircraft
- Prepare test plans
- Document analysis, ground and flight test results
- Write and update Engineering practice documents
- You have a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering (including courses or projects in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in-flight icing and/or CFD analyses). Having a Master is an asset.
- You have a minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in the thermodynamics and icing engineering field.
- Self-motivated and creative team player.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office software (advanced level for Excel).
- Knowledge of Siemens Flomaster is an asset.
- You are familiar with programming (Unix Operating System and with programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C# & Python is an asset).
- You possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills.
- Willing to travel for short term assignments.
