We are seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join a large, established organization in Burnaby, BC for an initial 3-month contract. This role will focus heavily on treasury analysis, investment portfolio reporting, foreign exchange exposure, cash flow forecasting, and financial modelling. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience working with investments and FX within a corporate treasury or related finance environment.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and analyze investment portfolios, including investment performance, returns, market trends, and portfolio activity, and provide meaningful reporting and recommendations to management.
- Develop and enhance investment portfolio reporting, dashboards, and analysis to improve visibility into investment performance and support treasury decision-making.
- Analyze foreign exchange exposures and assess the financial impact of currency fluctuations on business activities and cash requirements.
- Prepare FX analysis, reporting, and recommendations to support treasury planning and foreign currency risk management. This position is focused on analysis and recommendations rather than active FX trading.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, liquidity analysis,



and financial models to support short- and long-term treasury and funding requirements.
- Conduct financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment evaluations to support strategic and treasury-related decisions.

Qualifications:
- CFA, CPA or equivalent designation combined with relevant treasury and investment experience will also be considered.
- Strong hands-on treasury experience, with demonstrated exposure to both investment portfolio analysis and foreign exchange analysis.
- Experience monitoring and analyzing investment portfolios, investment performance, and market activity and providing recommendations based on findings.
- Experience analyzing foreign currency exposures and the financial impact of FX fluctuations within a corporate environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
