We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and clarity
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments efficiently and accurately
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout your shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant server or bartender with a strong understanding of food service procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cashiering software
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
- Basic understanding of hospitality principles to create welcoming environments for diverse clientele
