Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a lively restaurant and bar environment, ensuring guests have memorable dining and drinking experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Knowledge of POS system Clover Flex is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

- Take accurate orders from guests for food and beverages, including alcohol service in a nightclub or banquet setting
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine, beer, cocktails, and food pairings
- Assist in setting up catering or banquet events as needed
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and handle any customer concerns professionally
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote safety

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality environments; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS




- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and making accurate change
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with catering, brewing knowledge, retail math proficiency, and familiarity with the food industry standards

- PLEASE READ AND RESPOND: we are only seeking full time permanent workers through winter and into the spring and summer. We can offer as many hours you require. With notice we are flexible about requests and vacation days but the focus is the guest experience, particularly through the holiday season. We are closed on all statutory holidays except for Good Friday, and the latest we are open each night is 11:00 p.m. You will be required to work nights, weekends, and occasionally be scheduled split shifts.
