Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, cashier station, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety regulations




- Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen staff
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times for guests

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Solid customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and transaction purposes
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles demonstrating guest-focused service excellence

Join us at Ignite North Vancouver (new location be part of the opening team) Pay: $18.25-$19.50 per hour
