Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing recommendations when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit,

Skills

- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, with a strong foundation in hospitality principles
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist (a placeholder for team or guest interaction) effectively
