Established at Crossmount, the Pine & Thistle is a welcoming place to eat, drink, and gather, located just five minutes south of Saskatoon. Surrounded by our beautiful grounds and apple orchard, guests can enjoy fresh, locally inspired food and drinks while taking in the unique Crossmount experience.

Duties o Ensure the presentation of the Pine & Thistle is up to standard o Keeping a presentable bar area o Knowledge of menu o Maintenance of restaurant, regular cleaning o Upselling product o Make coffees, cocktails, and drinks and serve o Serve food to tables o Open and closing procedures are followed o Pay at table option o Check tables regularly o Taking reservations o Ability to work off-site tasting events o Count Inventory of cider, clothing, food and misc.

Physical and Mental Requirements

– Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.





- Ability to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

- High School Degree required.
- Serve it Right required.
- Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license.
- Ability to potentially work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior Bar & Restaurant experience is an asset
- Prior serving/bartending experience is an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal Pay: From $15.35 per hour
