Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food handling stations, and service stations
- Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours while providing personalized guest service




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly
- Support guest needs by providing menu recommendations, answering questions about ingredients or allergens, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols required to ensure health standards are met
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is beneficial but not mandatory
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
