Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Technician / Truck Equipment Installer to join our growing team. This hands-on position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with truck-mounted equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, and vehicle accessories.

Whether you have previous experience in truck upfitting, automotive repair, heavy equipment installation, or are mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we would like to hear from you.

Duties

- · Install and service truck-mounted equipment and accessories
- Install service bodies, flat decks, dump bodies, picker decks, cranes, VMAC systems and Miller systems.
- Install lights, engine heaters, throttle controls, running boards and 12-volt accessories
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs and diagnostics
- Work with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and workmanship expectations
- Maintain a clean and secure working environment
- Complete work effectively while maintaining attention to detail

Experience

- · Previous experience as an installer, upfitter, service technician, mechanic or similar role is considered an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience with automotive repair, truck equipment, trailers or dealer ship work is an asset.




- Knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems and accessories
- Experience with hydraulics is an asset
- Ability to read and follow installation instructions and technical drawing.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical work
- Must provide own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Valid driver’s license is considered an asset
