Job Title: Service Tendering Manager

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – approximately 50% onsite in the Montreal office

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced French-English bilingual Tendering / Proposal Qualified to manage complex service proposals involving HVDC or FACTS systems.

The ideal candidate will already have hands-on experience managing technical tenders and proposals within the power transmission, utilities, energy, grid technology, OEM, EPC, or related technical industry. This is a hands-on proposal execution role for someone who can quickly learn and follow established processes and begin managing tenders independently with minimal supervision.

MUST-HAVES

- Professionally fluent in both French and English.
- At least 3 years of directly relevant tendering, proposal, or bid-management experience.
- Meaningful technical depth in either HVDC or FACTS; both are not required.
- Experience personally owning or managing complex technical proposals.
- Ability to read established processes and begin tendering independently from day one.
- Experience within utilities, power transmission, energy, grid technology, an OEM, EPC, or a closely related technical industry.




- Willingness to complete a final face-to-face interview in Montreal.
- Montreal candidates must be comfortable working approximately half the time from the Montreal office.

CORE WORK

- Own service tenders and proposals from receipt of customer requirements through final submission.
- Review scopes, specifications, schedules, risks, commercial requirements, and customer expectations.
- Develop proposal strategies and coordinate technical and commercial inputs.
- Produce accurate, compliant, competitive, and profitable service tenders.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Finance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage proposal schedules, approvals, documentation, clarifications, and handoffs.
- Apply HVDC or FACTS knowledge when interpreting customer requirements and developing service solutions.
- Support customer and internal commercial discussions when required.
- Follow established internal tendering processes with minimal supervision.

Pay: $130,000.00-$140,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC
