Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sheetmetal Tradesman/woman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining sheet metal components across a variety of projects. Your expertise will ensure the precision and quality of HVAC systems, architectural features, and other custom metalwork.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install sheet metal components.
- Use hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and measuring devices to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal parts.
- Install HVAC ductwork, ventilation systems, roofing flashings, and architectural sheet metal features on construction sites.
- Perform welding and caulking tasks to ensure airtight seals and secure fittings.
- Assist with construction painting, plumbing connections, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration work as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of fabrication and installation processes.




- Conduct inspections of completed work for quality control and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with construction projects involving sheet metal fabrication or installation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project specifications accurately.
- Ability to perform welding tasks with precision; certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with construction trades such as carpentry, plumbing, restoration, flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
