Legacy Trailers is seeking a full time Shop Hand

This position will be responsible for various shop tasks and assisting mechanics on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

- Sweep floors, take out trash, clean spills, and maintain a protected workspace.
- Load and unload parts/equipment, stock parts, and move heavy materials around the shop.
- Help mechanics and shop staff on heavy or two-person jobs, prep parts, and fetch tools.
- Wash, fuel, or perform basic maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
- Assisting mechanics with shop duties as required, such as painting, parts running, etc.
- Cleaning and organizing shop equipment and premises
- Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

- Previous shop experience required - some mechanical experience an asset




- Ability to operate pressurized washing and cleaning equipment
- Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, climbing as needed to clean equipment
- Ability to work with heights and in varying environments, including hot, cold, dusty and in the presence of exhaust fumes, etc.
- Ability to travel between indoor and outdoor settings
- Ability to wear proper safety gear/PPE as needed
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
