Alliance Equipment is looking for a motivated individual to fill a position in our shop service crew. We are a growing material handling equipment supplier located just seconds off the Anthony Henday on Stony Plain Rd in West Edmonton.

Alliance Equipment specializes in servicing and selling current & used material handling equipment. We are proud to offer Northern Alberta our lines of new products from Hangcha Forklifts, UN Forklifts, JLG Industries, Mastercraft rough terrain and Faresin telehandlers.

Alliance Equipment has grown year after year in Edmonton through hard work and very high levels of customer service. Now, we are looking to expand again with a larger service crew to look after our growing list of customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Assist technicians with the repair, servicing, maintenance, and inspection of material handling equipment.
- Move, stage, and position forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, and other equipment within the shop and yard.
- Load and unload equipment and materials as required.
- Clean and prepare equipment before and after repairs or service.
- Assist with disassembly and reassembly of equipment and components under the direction of a technician.
- Remove, sort, organize, and dispose of used parts, scrap materials,



and waste appropriately.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing parts, tools, and shop supplies.
- Perform basic shop maintenance, including sweeping, cleaning work areas, and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely when required and when properly trained.
- Assist with moving and handling heavy components using appropriate lifting equipment and safe work practices.
- Perform basic tasks such as greasing, cleaning, painting, touch-ups, and other preventative maintenance support.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, storage areas, and equipment yards.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or hazards to management.
- Assist with general building, yard, and facility maintenance as required.
- Perform other duties related to shop operations as assigned.
