Short-Form Social Video Editor

About the Role

Renata Farbman is looking for a talented Short-Form Video Editor to join her content team on an ongoing basis.

You’ll turn raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, and other social content that captures attention, moves quickly, and keeps viewers watching. You’ll help shape the story, identify the strongest moments, create compelling openings, and make each video feel clear, entertaining, and true to Renata’s voice. The right editor will have strong creative instincts, understand short-form storytelling, and know how to make content feel polished without making it feel overly produced or unnatural.

About Renata

Renata Farbman is a personal stylist, body-shape expert, and fashion creator known for her direct, practical approach to getting dressed. Her content helps women understand their proportions, shop more intentionally, and build a wardrobe that makes them feel confident.

What You’ll Do

- Edit approximately 8–12 short-form videos per month
- Create videos typically ranging from 7–90 seconds
- Identify the strongest moments and storylines within raw footage
- Create engaging hooks that capture attention in the first few seconds
- Remove pauses, filler, repetition, and unnecessary content
- Build strong pacing and momentum to support audience retention




- Add text overlays, b-roll, zooms, sound effects, and other editing elements when needed
- Maintain Renata’s direct, conversational, and personality-driven tone
- Collaborate and implement feedback efficiently
- Consistently meet agreed-upon deadlines and turnaround times

What We’re Looking For

- Experience editing short-form social content for Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms
- Solid instincts for hooks, pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
- An understanding of what makes viewers stop scrolling and continue watching
- Ability to create polished, natural, personality-driven edits
- A strong visual eye and attention to detail
- Ability to preserve and enhance a creator’s unique voice
- Reliable communication, organisation, and quick turnaround
- Ability to work independently while taking creative direction
