Pit Lane Sim Racing
Dartmouth
Pit Lane Sim Racing launched in 2019 and has grown into one of Canada’s leading sim racing companies, serving customers across the country and internationally. We’ve grown to become known for custom simulator builds, nationwide free shipping, and our popular in-person Sim/VR Lounge the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada, located in Dartmouth.
As we continue to expand, we’re looking for hands-on, technically minded team members to join us as Tech Crew.
Why Join Us?
This is a practical, high-impact role at the heart of our technology, custom designs, and fab work. You’ll work directly with simulators, hardware, and software while supporting both internal projects and real customers. If you love technology, problem-solving, and interacting with people, and you want to grow with a fast-moving company that values reliability and continuous learning, this is an excellent place to build your skills and advance.
The Opportunity
As Tech Crew, you’ll support the tech team across design, development, building, testing, maintenance, and customer-facing technical support. You’ll help keep our simulators running at a high standard, resolve issues efficiently, and contribute to keeping our operation running smoothly. Strong performance here opens clear paths to greater responsibility in technical operations, product development, or specialized support roles as the company scales.
Responsibilities
- Support the tech team in all aspects of design, development, panel fabrication and finishing, building, and testing of simulators or simulator components
- Perform testing and diagnostics of hardware and software for internal use and for customers
- Deliver customer-focused technical support, helping resolve issues clearly and professionally
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on hardware for both customer equipment and company-owned systems
- Conduct quality and condition checks on equipment to maintain high standards
- Learn how to set up simulators and troubleshoot common issues with customers
- Resolve customer queries and complaints related to technical matters
- Assist other team members with customer service, order processing, and shipping occasionally when needed
What Success Looks Like (first 3–6 months)
- Reliable, high-quality support for the tech team on builds, testing, and diagnostics
- Efficient and accurate maintenance, repairs, and quality checks
- Clear, customer-friendly technical support that resolves issues and builds trust
- Growing confidence in simulator setup and troubleshooting
- Smooth assistance to the wider team during peak periods
- Demonstrated problem-solving and a proactive approach to learning new systems and processes
In order to succeed in this role, candidates will need to be reliable, with a strong work ethic, and ready to become familiar with our simulators, products, and processes. You’ll also be expected to communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and contribute to both technical excellence and a positive customer experience. We are looking for people who are:
- Strong communicators with customers and team members
- Well-organized, including during peak and high-volume periods
- Tech-savvy with an aptitude for learning recent apps and systems
- Self-starters with strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in learning and growing
- Comfortable working hands-on with hardware and software in a fast-paced environment
Additional skills that will be considered assets:
- Experience with sim racing
- Interest in or familiarity with product design/CAD
If you’re ready to join the Pit Lane family, contribute to the technical side of one of Canada’s leading sim racing brands, and grow your skills in a hands-on environment, we’d love to hear from you.
