We're Hiring – Skidder Operator Day and/or Night Shift
About the Company
We are an established forestry contractor, dedicated to sustainable and efficient forest operations. Based in Sussex NB, we are looking for an experienced and dependable Skidder Operator to join our forestry team. If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy working outdoors, and are committed to protected and efficient operations, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Silviculture duties such as chaining and rolling
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Work closely with the logging crew to ensure efficient production.
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Report equipment issues and maintain accurate work records as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a skidder or similar forestry equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of safe forestry practices and equipment operation.
- Ability to work in varying weather and terrain conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude.
- Valid driver's license required.
