Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dozer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty bulldozers to shape, level, and prepare construction sites efficiently and safely. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation will be vital in ensuring project timelines are met while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Duties

- Operate dozers with precision to move earth, gravel, and other materials according to project specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment, including Caterpillar dozers, graders, excavators, loaders, and backhoes to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Assist with site preparation tasks such as grading, paving, and land clearing to support construction activities
- Collaborate with team members to execute horizontal drilling, excavation, and other specialized construction operations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work workplace




- Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment or report issues promptly for repairs

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating dozers in a construction environment with a strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of various heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and paving machinery
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials on-site
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical instructions accurately
- Strong safety awareness with a commitment to adhering to OSHA standards and site-specific safety policies
- Prior experience with Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable
