Job Summary

Speech Road Clinic is a growing speech therapy clinic dedicated to supporting children and families through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) to provide speech and language services to pediatric clients throughout York Region and surrounding communities.

This is an in-person, community-based role involving service delivery in clients' homes, daycares, and schools. The position offers flexible scheduling, with caseloads based on clinician availability and client demand.

Responsibilities

- Provide speech therapy services in collaboration with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Deliver services in home, daycare, and school settings
- Support documentation and progress tracking
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals as appropriate
- Participate in team communication regarding client progress and treatment goals

Qualifications





- Completion of a recognized SLPA/CDA program (or equivalent training and experience)
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in community settings
- Professional, organized, and reliable
- Access to reliable transportation is considered an asset

Service Area & Travel This role primarily serves clients in:

- Thornhill
- Richmond Hill
- Markham
- North York

Preference will be given to candidates who reside in or near York Region, or who are comfortable travelling throughout these communities to provide services. Schedule & Flexibility

- Flexible, client-based scheduling
- Caseload is determined by clinician availability and client demand
- No minimum hours required
- Clinicians may choose to accept cases that align with their schedule
- Evening and weekend availability is considered an asset
