What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with small engines and outdoor power equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Provide customers with information on proper equipment use and maintenance.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum two years of related mechanical experience.
- Hands-on experience working on construction equipment is an asset.
- Must have your own tools.
- A valid Class G driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points) is preferred.
- Good organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.
- Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
