About Astute Financial

Astute Financial is a financial planning and risk management firm located on No. 3 Road in Richmond, BC. We work primarily with professionals, business owners and families in Greater Vancouver, providing retirement planning, wealth management and risk management services.

We are looking for a part-time Social Media & Lead Generation Assistant to help us grow our online presence, generate qualified prospective clients and book consultation appointments.

Responsibilities

- Manage and publish content on the company's social media accounts, with a focus on RedNote/Xiaohongshu and WeChat, as well as other relevant social media platforms.
- Help research, plan and create educational content related to financial planning, retirement, wealth management and business-owner planning.
- Research topics and trends that are relevant to professionals, business owners and families in Greater Vancouver.
- Respond professionally to comments and direct messages from prospective clients.
- Start conversations with interested prospects and identify potential client needs.
- Help qualify prospective clients and arrange consultation appointments with the financial advisor.
- Maintain organized records of leads, conversations and follow-ups.
- Use company-provided accounts, phone and tools for business communications.
- Follow company compliance guidelines. This position does not provide financial, investment or insurance advice to clients.

What We're Looking For





- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Comfortable communicating with recent people through social media and direct messages.
- Familiarity with social media content creation and lead generation.
- Experience with RedNote/Xiaohongshu and WeChat is a strong asset.
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a strong asset.
- Previous experience in social media, content creation, sales, customer service, marketing or lead generation is an asset.
- Organized, responsible and able to work independently.
- Interested in business, finance, entrepreneurship or personal finance.

What Matters Most We are not simply looking for someone to make social media posts. The objective is to turn useful content and online engagement into qualified conversations and consultation appointments.

We value initiative, communication ability, creativity and an understanding of how social media can generate real business opportunities.

Schedule & Compensation

- Part-time: approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- In-person at our Richmond, BC office on No. 3 Road
- $23–$25 per hour, depending on experience
- Additional performance and qualified-appointment bonuses

Candidates with previous social media work are encouraged to provide examples of accounts, content, campaigns or lead-generation results they have worked on. Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
