Social Media Copywriter

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Social Media Copywriter to create engaging, persuasive, and platform-specific content for brands in the relationship coaching, wellness, and personal development space.

You’ll be responsible for turning ideas, insights, and educational concepts into social media copy that stops the scroll, keeps people reading, builds trust, and drives action.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that great social media copy is more than simply writing captions. You should be comfortable creating robust hooks, telling compelling stories, simplifying complex ideas, and writing content that connects emotionally with an audience.

You’ll also understand how copy contributes to channel growth, sales, and conversions, and be able to use performance data to continuously improve your work.

What You’ll Do

- Write compelling copy for Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn and other social platforms
- Create robust hooks and opening lines designed to capture attention
- Write captions, carousel/tiles copy, covers copy, short-form video scripts, posts, and CTAs
- Adapt messaging and tone for different platforms and audiences
- Turn long-form content, videos, podcasts, articles, and expert insights into engaging social content
- Translate concepts around relationships, attachment, psychology, wellness, and personal development into clear, relatable language
- Use storytelling, curiosity, emotional triggers, and proven copywriting principles to increase engagement
- Write copy that encourages meaningful actions such as watching a video, clicking a link, joining a community, or exploring an offer
- Work directly with experts to extract knowledge from interviews, conversations, and their existing content
- Use analytics and performance data to develop effective strategies for growing channels through copy
- Create and optimize copy for funnels, including landing pages, email sequences, sales pages, VSLs,



and other conversion-focused assets
- Understand and contribute to omnichannel growth strategies across platforms and stages of the customer journey
- Collaborate with content strategists, designers, video editors, and marketing team members
- Work closely with design and content teams to develop effective marketing materials
- Research audience pain points, interests, trends, and content angles
- Drive sales and conversion KPIs, work with sales on messaging, and continuously improve outcomes
- Own and continuously improve brand voice and style
- Maintain consistent brand voice across content formats

What We’re Looking For

- 4+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably with a strong focus on social media, content marketing, or direct response
- Formal writing education or extensive professional writing experience
- Proven experience writing social media content for brands, creators, agencies, or online businesses
- Strong understanding of hooks, storytelling, audience psychology, and CTAs
- Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
- Ability to make complex or technical concepts easy to understand
- Solid understanding of what makes people stop scrolling and continue reading/watching
- Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences, brands, and platforms
- Comfortable working with high-volume content production and deadlines
- Strong research skills and the ability to independently develop content angles
- Education, qualified experience, or both in psychology, relationships, or the self-help space. Both education and experience are preferred
- Strong working knowledge of attachment theory, attachment styles (secure, anxious, avoidant,



and disorganized), relationship dynamics, emotional regulation, and interpersonal psychology
- Familiarity with relationship psychology, including attachment wounds, conflict patterns, emotional availability, nervous system regulation, communication, and relational dynamics
- Experience creating and optimizing funnels
- Understanding of analytics and the ability to use data to inform copy and growth strategy
- Understanding of omnichannel growth strategies
- Experience working with design and content teams on effective marketing materials
- Experience working with experts to extract knowledge directly and from their other content
- Ability to understand, own, and improve brand voice and style
- Experience driving sales and conversion KPIs, working with sales on messaging, and continuously improving outcomes

- Experience writing short-form video scripts
- Experience with direct-response or conversion copywriting
