Role Summary
Our Southern Alberta Branch is looking for a Calgary based Security Alarm Technician to join their team. The right candidate will be able to complete high quality installations, service work & maintain client equipment along with completing renovations and programming for our customers. The expectation is that the above would be completed while you are providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, install and program systems (alarm, access control and CCTV) as per the customer’s specifications

Perform Service work, ULC Inspections, Installations, Verification duties as assigned

Coordinate with Sales Representatives and Security Coordinators

Work to meet project estimation and deadlines

Stay up to date on current alarm technology.

Networking and programming as required.

Must be able to complete out of town work (including overnight stays), oncall work, work outside of traditional hours, and overtime as required

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience within the security industry is preferred

Knowledge and previous work experience with Access Control, Security Alarms and CCTV systems





Electrical training/experience or in-depth knowledge

Ability to manage a security install project from start to finish

Computer and network knowledge to set up systems

Basic understanding of electrical circuitry

Experience pulling wire and clean cable management

A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
