Position: Specialty Foods Chef (Korean Cuisine) Wages: CAD$35.00-37.00/hour (depending on skills & experiences) Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays) Working hours: 30 40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties:

- Plan and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of Korean foods • Prepare and cook authentic Korean BBQs and Korean foods, chef’s specials,



and specialty foods • Create current recipes • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality and safety standards • Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items • Demonstrate and train new cooking techniques/equipment to staff • Supervise activities of cooks and staff • Monitor and requisition food and supplies • Arrange any repair /purchase of kitchen equipment • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school; • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required.
- Korean food cooking certificate is an asset.
- Skills demonstration may be required.
