SickKids' Boomerang Health is an independent paediatric healthcare centre, located in York Region, that provides greater access to community-based services for children and adolescents.

Through our interdisciplinary team, we offer physician and rehabilitation services, including groups and camps. We are committed to helping parents find solutions and manage their children's health and well-being. We do this by striving for a seamless and positive healthcare experience, and providing high standards of care.

This position is part-time and requires availability on weekend and evening hours (4:00-8:00 pm). Work will be a mix of in-person at the clinic, school-based care and some virtual care. Provides comprehensive speech and language assessments and intervention to children with a variety of communication concerns.





Communicates effectively and maintains relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers and other relevant community stakeholders. Maintains complete and accurate medical records using an electronic (computerized) system. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with experience in paediatric assessment and treatment.

Registered with the College of Speech-language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). Strong proficiency in assessment and evidence-based occupational therapy interventions with children. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Proficient oral and written communication skills in French is an asset.
