We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer for a contract-to-permanent opportunity to manage and integrate a hybrid data environment with one of our clients in banking sector
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience administering on-premises Oracle databases
- Experience with Starburst/Trino for data federation and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks in a private cloud environment
- Robust experience with Apache Iceberg
- Experience with cross-platform data integration and data modelling
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, optimization, high availability, and reliability
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex hybrid data platforms and integrating multiple database and analytics technologies.
