Material Handler is responsible for transporting materials to/from trucks, containers, and racks; directing Warehouse Associates in their daily activities; Material Handler job.

Materials

Load and unload trailers and containers and place boxes in the correct bin locations Pull purchase orders by the box as directed by the supervisor Participate in all physical inventories and cycle counts Guidance Direct warehouse staff and give instructions regarding daily activities Safety & Organization Maintain a clean work area for safe and efficient operation, including replenishment of supplies Follows all company safety policies; Minimum Education High School Diploma, G.Minimum Special Certifications or technical skills Proficient in MS Office, intermediate Excel skills 1 year Warehouse experience in manufacturing environment ~ Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; Use inventory software Must be able to comply with all safety-related standards and requirements, including the correct utilization of personal protective equipment. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled setting which is subject to dust and high/low temperatures Applicants in Canada must satisfy federal, provincial, and local legal requirements of the job.
