New Opportunity: Staff Accountant

Company Overview:

A private equity-backed specialty trades organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing team in London, ON. As the company continues to expand through acquisitions, this is an opportunity to join a dynamic organization with significant runway for growth and career advancement.

Locatio n: London, ON (Onsit e)

Compensatio n: $80K–$90K + Bonus

About the Company : The organization provides fencing, perimeter security, gate automation, and access control solutions for commercial, infrastructure, utility, transportation, and institutional customers. Backed by private equity, the company is building a leading platform through strategic acquisitions and organic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, audit support, and process improvements.
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash applications, collections, and monitoring customer balances.
- Handle accounts payable processes, ensuring vendor invoices are coded, approved, and paid accurately and on time.




- Maintain inventory accounting records and reconciliations while partnering with operations and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Contribute to the development of scalable accounting processes in a growing, acquisition-driven environment.

Qualifications

- 2–4+ years of accounting experience.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Experience:

- Inventory accounting.
- Construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, distribution, or other project-based industries.
