Based in Toronto, this leadership role focuses on community engagement and program management across Canada.As the Director of Indigenous Programs, you’re charged with guiding a dedicated team to deliver play-based learning and capacity-building initiatives. Reporting to the Vice-President, you'll enhance strategic operations and ensure cultural responsiveness in each program to support First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities effectively.Key Responsibilities:
- Create Indigenous Programs strategy and operating plans
- Manage program delivery in Indigenous partner communities
- Lead, mentor, and promote an inclusive team workplace
- Oversee compliance with financial policies and guidelines
- Develop partnerships and represent the organization externallyRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- At least 10 years in community-based organizations
- Proven budget management experience
- Familiarity with Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action
