Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential.
- Manage payroll, cash handling, and bookkeeping activities with accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store visibility within the community.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements across all operational areas.
- Conduct regular sales analysis and budgeting to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high levels of customer service excellence.




- Recruit recent team members through effective interviewing techniques and oversee their onboarding process.

Skills

- Proven experience in retail management with strong supervising skills and team leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus).
- Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering, and sales management software.
- Strong negotiation skills for purchasing, vendor relations, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, pricing strategies, and marketing techniques.
- Ability to manage budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks, and handle administrative responsibilities efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in inventory control and store presentation.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training & development, and supervising staff members effectively.
- Competency in time management to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
