This hands-on position requires collaboration with various engineering disciplines to deliver compliant, secure aircraft modifications and maintain regulatory relationships. Candidates should have a solid foundation in aircraft structural certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct structural analysis for aircraft modifications • Develop plans for compliance with airworthiness regulations • Interface with regulatory bodies on certification issues • Support STC development with structural expertise • Provide mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements: • Degree in Engineering related to aerospace or structures • 3+ years in structural analysis and certification processes • Professional Engineer designation preferred • Strong understanding of airworthiness standards • Competence in stress analysis and computation methods
