This full-time position involves a 4 on/4 off schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM. You will interact with guests and provide essential support to volunteers and staff in a trauma-informed approach. Your role is crucial to creating a safe, respectful environment for vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients and staff while enhancing safety
• Engage with community partners for effective support
• Monitor building via CCTV for safety compliance
• Provide direction to services for guests and the public
• Report and address any security incidents promptly
Requirements:
• Must hold an Alberta Security License
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Background in human services or law enforcement is preferred
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Solid resilience in stressful environments
