Strategic Sourcing Procurement Specialist
Location: Montreal, QC – Côte-de-Liesse (St-Laurent)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week
Mission Description
We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Procurement Specialist to support category strategy, strategic sourcing execution, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement, primarily across Contingent Workforce and Business Services categories.
Working closely with the Global Procurement & Supply Management (GPSM) team, the successful candidate will contribute to a rolling 12-month sourcing pipeline, execute sourcing and negotiations with new and existing suppliers, and support the governance and continuous improvement of high-profile Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs.
The level of responsibility will be adapted to the candidate's experience, ranging from supporting sourcing analysis and documentation to independently managing end-to-end sourcing projects and leading complex negotiations with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supplier data, market trends, and cost benchmarks to support category strategies and sourcing decisions.
- Prepare and/or lead RFI/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, and sourcing activities for assigned categories.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing,
and risk provisions with suppliers in collaboration with Legal and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and prioritize sourcing projects within DevOps, maintaining visibility of the team's 12-month sourcing pipeline.
- Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, conduct business reviews, and resolve operational or performance issues.
- Collaborate with MSP partners and internal stakeholders to strengthen program governance, drive process improvements, and balance cost, risk, and speed of delivery.
Qualifications
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant strategic sourcing/procurement experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives and priorities.
- Experience with supplier management, sourcing processes, RFI/RFPs, negotiations, and contract-related activities.
- Self-directed and able to work effectively independently and within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Proactive, results-oriented, collaborative, and politically savvy, with robust stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
