Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s specific needs and health conditions
Assess clients’ health history and discuss treatment goals to develop customized therapy plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate self-care practices
Document client progress and treatment details accurately in accordance with professional standards
Communicate clearly with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and provide exceptional customer service
Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements
Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques
Excellent customer service skills to foster trust and build lasting client relationships
Effective communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and listening attentively to client concerns
Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor in a quick-paced setting
Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist from an accredited regulatory body is required
Nice-to-have: experience working with diverse populations or specialized therapies such as sports massage or injury rehabilitation
