RAStudios is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Studio Coordinator to keep our artists supplied and our creative production moving.

This is an active, practical role in a fast-paced studio filled with beautiful original artwork. You will manage canvases, prepare materials, monitor inventory and make sure our artists consistently have everything they need to create.

We need someone who notices what needs to be done, solves problems quickly and takes action without waiting to be asked.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a constant supply of prepared canvases for our artists
- Organize, track and distribute canvases throughout the studio
- Gesso canvases and varnish completed artwork
- Monitor inventory and replenish paints, brushes, gesso, varnish and other studio supplies
- Anticipate material and production needs before shortages affect workflow
- Receive, organize and store incoming supplies
- Maintain clean, orderly and efficient studio work areas
- Track supply usage and help coordinate purchasing
- Identify and solve day-to-day production problems
- Support the artists and production team wherever needed to keep work moving

- Able to follow tasks through to completion
- Experience with inventory, supplies, production or studio work is an asset
- Familiarity with canvases, gesso, varnish or art materials is an asset, but training can be provided

Physical requirements
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout the workday
- Able to handle and move canvases and studio supplies safely
- Able to perform repetitive preparation and finishing tasks
