I am a Kitchener-based artist looking for a Studio Manager.

Location: Kitchener, ON

Hours: Monday to Friday; Versatile

I am an artist in Kitchener seeking part-time administrative assistance for both my studio and home life. As a disabled studio owner my greatest need is help with organization, administrative and financial tasks . If you are passionate about art and have strong financial management and planning experience and are an excellent organizer - I would like to hear from you!

Applicant MUST also be willing to lift heavy materials and MUST live in the Waterloo region.

The manager will be working directly with me, helping with:

- tracking income and expenses for HST remittances and grant reports
- budgeting and financial planning
- developing and executing appropriate website management and social media strategy
- studio and home office organization
- preparations for exhibition (communications, planning)
- transportation of artworks and final installation
- project planning, management, and research for new artistic opportunities
- project budget tracking and revenue management

Ideal Candidate:




- Must have financial tracking, planning and runway projections experience
- Punctual and reliable
- A great communicator, listener and generally has positive vibes
- Great computer skills (office, photoshop, adobe)
- Familiar with social media video editing and ad campaigns
- accomplished creative (preferably with some graphic design experience)
- creative problem solver
- attention to detail
- takes direction
- likes to research
- familiar with artistic production

Requirements:
- University degree
- Portfolio (online is fine)
- Administrative experience is necessary
- At least 2 professional references
- Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle
