Little Hands Montessori Academy (LHMA) is looking for Substitute Teachers/Educators (Level 1, 2, or 3) to support our classrooms on an on-call basis.
As a Substitute Teacher, you will work alongside classroom staff to ensure children’s needs are met and daily routines are maintained in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with classroom staff to ensure children’s basic care needs and daily routines are consistently met.
- Support teachers with classroom activities, supervision, and transitions.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with classroom partners and administration.
Qualifications:
- Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certificate (Level 1, 2, or 3).
- Current First Aid Certification.
- Current Police Information Check.
- Robust communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working on an on-call basis.
