Our team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a maternity leave coverage basis starting October 1 2026 until April 1 2028. The coverage is for Wednesdays (8am-4pm) and Thursdays (9am-5pm) only.

Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
Conduct oral health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
Assist with dental procedures such as sealants, fluoride treatments, and other preventive services
Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management (AbelDent)




Support the dental team by assisting with patient flow and ensuring a smooth clinical setting

Experience
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Previous experience working in a dental office setting is highly preferred
Ability to communicate dental terminology clearly and effectively to patients and team members
